Accessing Your VDI

• From any browser, type https://cloudoffice.rsapps.com and click go or hit enter
• This will bring you to the page below:

o User name: enter your full email address
o Password: enter the password used to log into windows (domain password)
o Click Log On
• The following page should appear:

o Click on Desktop
• A new window will be launched called the Desktop Viewer
• You are now in your VDI
• This will be your new primary operating computer

 

VDI Toolbar

• You will notice a small tab at the top of your VDI:

• When clicked, the following drops down:

• This is the VDI Toolbar
o Home: This button will take you back to your local computer screen
o Ctrl+Alt+Del: This button will allow you to log off or change your password
o Preferences: This button will open a menu which allows you to change screen
resolution and file access to your local computer
o Full Screen: This button expands your VDI across your entire monitor
o Disconnect: This button will close your VDI screen but WILL NOT log you out. Your
programs will continue to run in the background.
Working Within the VDI
• The VDI will function just like your local computer. There will be some differences to ensure
security and stability of data. However, your programs, mapped drives and web browsing
should all function similarly to your local computer.
